Folks on this project have made a proposal about filtering the Internet, one which they claim will both protect people, especially children, from objectionable content while still preserving the rights of free speech. Read and decide for yourself.
SafeSurf. This may or may not be censorship, depending on your outlook. These folks want sites to be rated, and also offer a filtering system to keep kids from accessing "adult content."
