  • Symantec Security Response. Afflilated with Norton Anti-Virus. A wealth of information on viruses and virus hoaxes. UConn students can get Norton Anti-Virus free of charge from the UConn Software Norton Anti-Virus site; once you have it, you can download updated virus software here.
  • McAfee's Virus Information Library. This site allows you to scan your computer on-line, as well as offering info on the latest viruses and hoaxes. The Virus Glossary is particularly helpful for the uninitiated.
