• Google. A very powerful search engine.

Here are a few more. These are more sophisticated; some let you type in your question normally, and others let you use more than one search engine at once.

• Ask Jeeves. This search engine allows you to ask a normal question.
• Cyber 411, now (apparently) called C4.com
• Mamma: The Mother of All Search Engines
• ProFusion. Easy to read.
• C|Net Search.com
• NorthernLight. This site helps organize your search by giving you answers divided into neat little folders.

• Beaucoup.com. This site acts as a metalist of other, more topic-specific search engines. A lot of people don't know about these sites, but they can be very helpful in searching for info on a particular area of interest.
