Dennis W. Hill, Ph.D.,
Professor of Clinical Chemistry and Director

Dr. Hill is a professor in the Department of Pathobiology and the School of Pharmacy, University of Connecticut. He joined the Microchemistry Lab as Clinical Chemist in 1976 and assumed directorship in 1982. He teaches courses in analytical toxicology and clinical chemistry, serves as major advisor to graduate students and collaborates with other university departments, government agencies and businesses. His research interests are in the area of development of analytical methods utilizing mass spectral and chromatographic techniques for the analysis of biomolecules, and the development of in vitro and in vivo techniques for the identification of biotransformation products of drugs and toxins.
