This page is intended to be a source of information for those interested in Motorola MC68HC05, MC68HC08, MC68HC11 and M68HC12 Microcontrollers.






    Retailers:

  • Technological Arts has several modules designed to be plugged vertically into a solderless breadboard. They have boards for the MC68HC812A4 and MC68HC912B32 and HC11 MCU's.
  • CGN Technology InnovatorsMCU wire wrap adapter modules.
  • LDG Electronics has an interesting board that features a 8K serial EEPROM.
  • The parvus PC-compatible circuit boards or modules PC/104 embedded peripherals. A lot of information here.
  • Onset Computer Corp. has a data logger, The Tattletale TFX-11, based on a MC68HC11F1
  • From France SERIElectronique has software for and systems using 68HC11, 68HC12, 6809 and others.
  • ACS has 8051 / HC11 'Off the shelf' Industrial Control & Automation Solutions.
  • MCT is a German company and manufactures single board computers, compilers and software tools for embedded systems development.
  • Micro Control Journal Forth Microsystems has a small board for a 68HC711E9 or HC811E2. They sell bare boards or assembled.
  • New Micros has many boards and systems. Heavy focus on FORTH programming.
  • AM Research weak site but also promotes FORTH.
  • The Robot Store is an interestiong site with some robots controlled with 68HC11's.
  • Mekatronix is a manufacturer of Autonomous Mobile Robots, Robot Kits and HC11 microcontroller kits.
  • In Spain, Microbotica has the CT6811 board and a robot that uses it.
  • The Wintek Corporation is mostly a software company these days but they still sell a M6800 & a M6809 board.
  • NovaSoft or Mr. Robot distributes 68HC11 boards, robot kits, 68HC11 software and parts.
  • J&M Microtek, Inc. sells the JM-11 measuring 4.5"x5.25", which provides up to 32K ROM and 32K RAM.
  • Future-Bot or P-Brian has a fully assembled 68HC11 processor module epoxy potted and sealed that is ready to go.
  • Zorin has the 32K ModCon and 68HC11 midi kit.
  • Allen Systems has fully assembled boards. An HC11A1 & HC11F1 board each with a 88C681 DUART for lots of I/O. They also have a new board based on the 68HC908, which has 20K bytes of on-chip Flash for program storage.
  • EMAC Inc. has a F1 board that can hold a 128K RAM (uses the F1's bank switching), 32K EPROM, a DAC, a 7805 regulator, a second UART, RS232 and/or RS485 drivers and 500 ma drivers on some output lines.
  • MIDWEST Micro-Tek has a HC11 board with 24 lines of parallel I/O to match an OPTO 22 pinout specifications.
  • TECI HC05 and HC11 primer systems and In-Circuit Emulators.
  • KITSRUS a.k.a. DIY Electronics has some kits based on the 16 pin MC68HC705K1 and other '05 members.
  • OZ TECHNICS produces HC05 and HC11 Development Tools, pricey.
  • PMB Electronics of New Zealand has a MC68HC11F1 boards.
  • ASPiSYS of Greece has an F1 board with 32K RAM and 32 K EEPROM and a LCD port.
  • Mosaic Industries, Inc manufactures the QED Board, a very tight MC68HC11F1 board with 160K of battery backed RAM. Their site has a lot of information on line.
  • Advanced Microcomputer Systems the EZ-ROUTE PCB CAD people are selling a microprocessor design course for colleges. The course includes a board with a MC68HC11D0 set up in expanded mode. They have recently added a 68HC12 trainer to their line.
  • Zanthic Technologies is a provider of embedded microcontrollers based on the 68HC11 processor and CAN (Controller Area Network) interface.
  • Orgler electronic has several HC11 boards, one with LCD and plenty of I/O. Software, Hardware and Projects here.
  • Tecny Electronics has a 3" x 3" 68HC11A1 board with space for two RAM and/or EPROM chips.
  • HVW Technologies has a 68HC11 Proto Board that allows quick and easy development. Each port is brought-out to it's own 10-pin header.
  • EV Plus, manufacturer of the WICE 68HC11 In-Circuit Emulator. Several bang for your buck possibilities here.
  • BiPOM Electronics has Microcontroller boards for the 68HC11, 68HC912 and the 68HC908GP32.
  • Axiom Manufacturing has several HC11, HC12 boards and one for the HC908GP32
  • Futurlec has a MC68HC11 and MC68HC908JL3 development board.
  • Lloyd Research , SofTec Microsystems and Tribal Microsystems offer Gang programmers.
  • STMicroelectronics offers various 68xx micros and peripherals.
    • Easy Flash, Wafer Scale combo memory and PLD chips acquired by STMicroelectronics.
  • Toshiba second sources some 68HC11 Microcontrollers.
  • Tekmos has a 68HC24 port replacement unit.
  • innovASIC has a drop-in replacement for the Motorola MC6805E2, Harris CD6805E2, and the Hitachi HD6301.
  • EMICROS has the CANTEC11, a 68HC11 Single Board Computer with a Controller Area Network (CAN) interface. Also software examples.
