That through reincarnation, you can achieve enlightenment (nirvana)
The superficial self of your thoughts, behaviors and actions is who you really are.
Anatman.
None of the above.
The principle of dependent origination (conditioned existence) states that
because everything has a cause, and nothing comes from nothing, then there must be a first cause to set in motion all of the processes that we experience.
since all there are all processes, each process has its origination in some other, previous process.
since it's possible for the pain located roughly here have been somewhere else instead, then although there are always prior events to any existing event, the spatial location of events is random.
physical objects must exist because there are physical objects that existed before.
Interdependent arising is the idea that
there are no independent existing objects
because of dependent origination, ordinary objects rely for their existence on prior processes.
all is really Brahman.
the self just is the spatio-temporal continuum of interdependently arising memories and personality in any moment.
The fundamental cause of suffering is
Strong desires - craving.
Pain.
Strong attachment to outcomes.
None of the above.
For Buddhism, what is reincarnation?
Your consciousness is what is reincarnated in another animate thing.
Similar to atman, though not atman, there is some fundamental spiritual substance that continues beyond the destruction of the physical processes that we conventionally create boundaries around for re-identification.
