School: Alex is a sophomore at UConn, and originally came as a Pre-education major, until she realized that the program is ridiculous and she likes her sanity. She is now double majoring in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies. She hopes to graduate in Spring of 2009, and is considering applying to the Graduate School of Social Work at UConn. But that could easily change in the next few years…

Band: Alex has been playing the flute since the fifth grade in Wilton, Connecticut. She played in various bands and ensembles until she graduated high school, including concert band her freshman year, wind ensemble for the next three, marching band for all four, squad leader for two, and various flute choirs throughout. Coming to UConn and learning how to march corps style was quite a change from the line dancing style of her high school marching band. She currently plays piccolo and flute in the fluteline.

Sorority: Alex went through with the Beta Omicron class, which went through in the fall of 2006. She is a proud member of the Penguin Family.
