College: Amy is from Danbury, CT, and went to Danbury High School before coming to UConn. Currently, Amy is in her fifth semester as a music major in the School of Fine Arts. Her primary instrument is the flute, which she plays in the wind ensemble. She is working on being accepted to the NEAG School of Education so that she can be music education major. When finished with the program, Amy will graduate with a BA in music and a BS in education. Her goal is to eventually earn a masters and doctoral degree in music so that she can teach a college marching band.

Band: Amy is in her third year as a member of the UCMB fluteline, where she plays the piccolo. This is also her second year as one of the three flute section leaders. In the winter months, Amy plays piccolo in the UConn Basketball Pep Bands, and in the Spring she plays saxophone in the concert band. Occasionally she will work with the UConn Steel Drum band throughout the year.

Sorority: Amy became a sister her freshman on April 16, 2005 with the 11 member class of Beta Mu. She served as Chapter Corresponding Secretary from 2005-2006 when she was a sophomore. Currently as a junior she is the Northeast District Secretary for 2006-2007 which gave her the opportunity to travel to Stillwater Station in Oklahoma for the 2006 District Leadership Conference where she was proud to represent the "Nation's Elite District". Becoming a sister of Tau Beta Sigma is one of the greatest moment's in Amy's life thus far, and she is always excited to meet sisters from all over the nation. As she says, "It is truely an honor to be selected to serve".
