College: Kassie is in her senior year at UConn. She is a Family Studies major, with a concentration in early childhood development and education. Her goal is to teach young children how to read and count.

Band: Kassie is a member of the enthusiastic fluteline, playing the piccolo. She has been playing the flute since fourth grade, and was a participant in the NYSSMA competition beginning in 7th grade up until her junior year of high school.  She always played in an ensemble in school, but had the honor of being a member of her school’s Symphonic band for her junior and senior year. In addition, she was a member of the Oceanside H.S. Sailors marching band for four years, playing the piccolo, and serving as drum major for two of those years.

Sorority: Kassie went through in the Spring of 2005 with the Beta Mu class. During the 2005-06 school year she held the history committee chair position. In 2006-07 she chaired the joint committee along with one of our Brothers to place a bid for the 2008 Northern precinct meeting. She is now super excited to be the chapter Historian for 2007-08. She is a member of the turtle family and has the most awesome little EVER!
